On April 6-7, the Snowboard Junior World Championship will be held for the first time in Gudauri, Georgia.
The Mountain Trails Agency states the event will be held under the leadership of the The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), in which 80 athletes under the age of 21 from 18 leading countries will compete.
Competition director Peter Krogoll and technical delegate Riccardo Chiminazzo will attend the event from the International Ski Federation (FIS).
