The Italian Embassy in Tbilisi reports that the celebrated Georgian playwright and writer Nino Kharatishvili has been honored with the prestigious Grinzane Cavour International Prize, recognizing both Italian and global exceptional literary works published in Italy for her novel ‘The Uncanny Light’. According to the embassy, the novel was translated into Italian by Fabio Cremonese.
The growing number of Kharatishvili’s achievements highlights the extent of her literary influence and recognition. The award itself not only underscores her talent but also puts Georgia on the international literary scene.
