On May 14, “New Wine Festival 2022” is to be held in Mtatsminda Park.
61 wine companies, 89 family wineries, and ten other companies will take part in the festival. Attendance at the festival is free.
New Wine Festival 2022 will allow participants and guests to taste hundreds of new wines of the last harvest and get to know the authors of these wines.
The main idea of the festival is to popularize Georgian traditional pitcher wine, discover new varieties or places, raise the level of wine education in Georgia and develop consumer culture.
The charity event “Georgian winemaking in support of Ukraine” is planned at the New Wine Festival. Special stickers were created. These stickers will be attached to the wines of the companies that have already transferred money to the charity account opened in support of Ukraine. This amount is fully transferred to the Ukrainian People’s Aid Fund.
