Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, took part in the International Deposit Insurance Association (IADI) conference.
The National Bank of Georgia stated, that the participants of the event discussed the achievements and challenges of deposit insurance systems.
“During the last decade, the country has made significant progress in creating an effective deposit insurance system,” noted Natia Turnava.
Natia Turnava said in her speech, that the deposit insurance system is the most important support not only for managing financial stress and protecting depositors, but also for trust of restoring market.
