At her final court hearing, Mzia Amaglobeli, founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti, responded to accusations made against her by members of the ruling party.
“They call me an agent, claim the ‘global war party’ trained me to slap people, and accuse me of trying to destroy the police system,” she said. “These aren’t random voices — they come from those in power.”
Addressing Irakli Kobakhidze, Amaglobeli stated: “The ‘deep state’ doesn’t need to humiliate the police — they do it themselves. When you ignore violence against citizens like Rogava and Chikhladze, you damage the dignity of law enforcement.”
She criticized the court for rejecting her motions and concluded:
“This verdict will not only punish me — it will professionally stain every prosecutor and official involved in this case.”
