Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia reported Minister of Culture, Tea Tsulukiani, held a working meeting with the representatives of Georgian pop music and offered them the chance to participate in projects supported by the Ministry.

The meeting focused on terms and conditions of funding for cultural activities/projects and noted that the Ministry’s priority is to increase access to culture, especially in the regions.

The Minister called on musicians to take part in competitions announced by the ministry and plan tours in the regions, which on the one hand will increase access to culture and on the other hand will serve to reduce the damage done to artists by the pandemic.

The meeting was held in a question-and-answer mode, during which the Minister gave comprehensive answers to the questions of the meeting participants, received information about the challenges in the field and promised support from the Ministry.
