Advertising the Adjara tourism is ongoing despite the global pandemic, with a video of images of the region being shown to millions of Euronews viewers this week.
The TV commercial is being broadcasted in international day and night prime time in 160 countries around the world. Besides the video, the TV station broadcasts a 25-second slideshow of national parks with the status of UNESCO cultural heritage, which features Georgia’s Mtirala, Kintrishi, Kolkheti National Parks, and Kobuleti Protected Area.
The aim of the Adjara Tourism Department is to advertise the region on Euronews and position it as an attractive place for both tourism and investment.
“Despite the pandemic, we continue to advertise the region on international markets to once again remind potential tourists of Adjara’s tourism products. At the same time, to let the general public know about the international recognition of our natural resources, which is envisaged by the granting of cultural heritage status to our national parks by UNESCO.
“We have a complex advertisement, which includes TV commercials with image clips, slideshow TV commercials, as well as the preparation of a story about the region, all of which will help position Adjara and our country on the world tourism map,” said Tinatin Zoidze, head of the Adjara Tourism Department.
