Reportedly, the armed attacker was arrested and all the hostages were released from the Kutaisi branch of the Bank of Georgia.
According to available information, all persons have left the building.
Gunshots were also heard on the spot, but it is not known by whom the shots were fired.
The area is surrounded by yellow tape and there is a special mobilization of law enforcement officers.
The identity of the attacker, as well as condition of hostages, is unknown at this stage.
