The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili participates in the EU-Eastern Partnership ministerial meeting held in Brussels.
The event is also attended by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the EU and Eastern Partnership countries, as well as the co-chairmen of Euronest.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia will deliver a speech before the participants of the event. In his speech, the Minister will focus on the opportunities of Eastern Partnership and the challenges facing it. He will also highlight Georgia’s efforts on the EU integration path, including in terms of the fulfillment of 12 priorities; the Minister will highlight the economic and political significance of the implementation of the flagship projects developed for Georgia within the framework of the Eastern Partnership economic and investment plan.
Within the framework of the visit, the Minister will hold meetings with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, and with the EU foreign ministers.
