Georgia will not participate in the “3+3” meeting in Tehran, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adding that Georgia never participated in the mentioned meeting.
“Georgia does not participate in the mentioned meeting and has never participated,” the agency notes.
For information, on October 23, Monday, the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Russia and Turkey will hold a meeting in “3+3 format” in Tehran, Iran.
In 2020, the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced the initiative to create a “new platform for regional cooperation to ensure strong peace and stability” – “3+3” in the South Caucasus. The meeting in the mentioned format was held for the first time in 2021, and Georgia did not attend then either.
