At the initiative of MEPs, Georgia’s ongoing political developments will be discussed in the European Parliament today, March 9, where a report on Georgia will be presented by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
The report will mainly focus on last week’s visit to Georgia of European Council President Charles Michel.
The Georgian delegation will attend the plenary session, which is scheduled to start at 15:00 Brussels time.
“Assessments will be made mainly about the visit of Charles Michel. Everyone is interested in reaching a compromise between the parties as soon as possible. We are ready to continue the dialogue in a constructive mode,” Maka Bochorishvili, Chairperson of the European Integration Committee of the Georgian Parliament, told reporters.
