MEP Anna Fotyga (Poland) has arrived in Georgia. Based on the available information, she will visit Mikheil Saakashvili in the medical center of the 18th penitentiary institution in Gldani.
Anna Fotyga arrived at Tbilisi International Airport late last night and made a short comment to journalists.
“I have an important mission and I will comment after the meetings,” Anna Fotyga said.
The third president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has been on a hunger strike for 43 days. However, he announced readiness to end a hunger strike if he is transferred to a civilian hospital for treatment.
