Liverpool FC Star Giorgi Mamardashvili Invests in Archi’s Flagship Real Estate Project, Grand Avenue – The New Downtown of Tbilisi

Giorgi Mamardashvili, goalkeeper for Liverpool FC and Georgia’s national football team, has taken a strategic step into the real estate sector by investing in Archi’s flagship development, Grand Avenue. This marks Mamardashvili’s first foray into property investment, and signals his growing interest in long-term business ventures outside of football.

“This is my first investment, and it’s a big milestone for me,” Mamardashvili says. “Everyone who joins us will be proud to be part of the Grand Avenue project. We’re building the new Downtown of Tbilisi—a place that represents the city’s future. I’m confident that, together, we’ll create something truly remarkable.”

Archi executives describe the partnership as a significant endorsement of the project’s scale and vision: “Giorgi Mamardashvili is not only one of Georgia’s most accomplished athletes, but also a symbol of progress and ambition,” the company stated. “Partnering with him spotlights our shared values of excellence and innovation.”

Launched on September 20, Grand Avenue is a mixed-use, city-within-a-city development near Dinamo Stadium, integrating residential, commercial, and leisure spaces. Within five hours of launching the project, Archi had sold an incredible 644 apartments, setting a company record. Grand Avenue features sustainable design, high-end amenities, and extensive green spaces, with 75% of the site dedicated to recreation and landscaped areas-a first for Tbilisi.

Why invest in Archi?

With 19 years of experience, Archi has completed 51 projects and is managing 31 ongoing developments across Georgia. The company has delivered an ROI of 11.8% and capital gains of 45%, establishing itself as a leader in premium Georgian real estate.

Archi’s Grand Avenue is set to become a defining part of Tbilisi’s skyline-a modern, vibrant space for living, working, and enjoying the city. With Giorgi Mamardashvili on board as an investor, the project gains not just a high-profile supporter, but also a personal touch from someone who cares about the city’s future. His involvement highlights the confidence that Georgia’s rising stars have in the country’s growth, and in Archi’s vision.
