Liberty Bank became a sponsor of Lanchkhuti Women’s Football Club. The memorandum signed between Liberty Bank and the Football Club provides for the financial support of the club and the creation of suitable training conditions for the players.
With the signed memorandum, the Bank reaffirms its readiness to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the principles of gender equality and the development of women’s football, especially in the regions.
“I am glad that the Lanchkhuti Women’s Football Club has acquired a great friend, Liberty Bank. I would like to express my personal and whole admiration and support for these girls,” said Vasil Khodeli, Liberty Bank General Director. “We will do our best to ensure that the club has all the conditions for full training and a successful season throughout the year.
Empowering women, especially in the regions, is one of Liberty’s main concerns. We think that our partnership will significantly contribute to this goal throughout Georgia.”
“Liberty’s support will bring more stability to the club, help achieve long-term sporting goals and contribute to a healthy lifestyle. This type of partnership is a very important event in Georgian sports and especially in women’s football,” said Durmishkhan Chkhaidze, director of the club.
Liberty is a company that has been a signatory to the Principles for the Empowerment of Women since 2020 – a close partnership between the UN Women Georgia office and Liberty Bank, which began last year, aims to empower women and improve their quality of life.
