On September 8, Liberty Bank CEO Vasil Khodeli presented the bank’s new team and development strategy.
Liberty, which has the largest banking network in Georgia and has been serving elderly customers for years, says the bank is entering a new phase of development and its new strategic goal is to become a universal financial institution for customers of all ages and needs.
“New Liberty for a New Life” – a strategy that the new management team of the bank presented to the public to achieve this goal, consists of several important areas:
- Creating customized products;
- Introduction of the highest level of services;
- Offering development of retail, small and medium business, as well as agro-business, to new segments;
- Significant attention is paid to the introduction of a strong, sustainable and open corporate culture in the Bank’s strategy.
One of Liberty’s most important strategic areas is corporate social responsibility (CSR). In this regard, Vasil Khodeli announced a new platform, under which the CSR Supervisory Board will be established, in cooperation with local NGOs and international organizations, independent experts, with the involvement of the bank’s management.
Liberty will introduce a new social responsibility platform to the public in the near future, present to its board of directors the priorities through which it plans to implement and support long-term and sustainable corporate responsibility programs.
“Today, together with the new Liberty team, we presented the new vision and strategy of the company. Simple, understandable, accessible, and caring – these are the values of each member of our Liberty team. We’d like to offer our customers the service based on these values.
“Liberty is one of the systemic banks in the country and the largest employer company. Behind our plans and goals are the 5,000 people who serve more than 1.6 million customers daily. I think our goal – to improve and change the lives of our customers, their families and their businesses, to constantly offer tailored products and services – will enable us to see the new Liberty in a different and exciting context,” said Liberty Bank CEO Vasil Khodeli.
