According to the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, visa-free travel to China will soon come into force.
“Last year it was discussed that from 2024 Georgian citizens would have the possibility of visa-free travel to China. The decision will enter into force soon, technical works are now underway. Our citizens will be given the opportunity to travel to China without any barriers, and this will promote relations between the countries. First of all, it will be very important from the point of view of trade and economy, because China is an important trade partner for Georgia. Many citizens traveled to China for economic relations, but it was not easy. Visa-free travel will make this process easier,” Levan Davitashvili.
