Kupradze names Elisashvili, Khvedeliani for Deputy Mayors, Sharashidze for City Council Chair

At a joint presentation for the upcoming local self-government elections, “Lelo – Strong Georgia” and “Gakharia For Georgia” introduced their candidates for key positions in Tbilisi.

Mayoral candidate Irakli Kupradze announced that Giorgi Sharashidze, a member of “Gakharia For Georgia,” will run for chairperson of the City Council. He also named Aleko Elisashvili, representing “Lelo – Strong Georgia,” and Tata Khvedeliani, from “For Georgia,” as deputy mayoral candidates.

Highlighting the importance of unity, Kupradze emphasized that meaningful change is only possible through teamwork.

“We are preparing for a struggle where we must wrest Tbilisi from injustice and lawlessness, from the Russian horde. We must create a city free of drugs and child hunger, a city with dignified work, fair pay, and pensioners who live with dignity and real opportunities,” Kupradze said. “In this struggle, we present this team to you—let us join hands, and together we will show that we can achieve this. Long live a strong, European, and violence-free Tbilisi.”
