“If we look at the trend of other countries, we sometimes lag behind by about two months, then it moves like a wave to the eastern countries. It should not be alarming or an unexpected surprise. In the psyche of people, it seems that the pandemic is over, but unfortunately, Covid has no plans for that,” said allergist-immunologist, Bidzina Kulumbegov.
He noted that Covid is characterized by mutation. First to note is how much it has changed compared to its previous version. He added that this is the beginning of the “seventh wave.”
“There is nothing alarming about this. We can see that the number has increased 5 times compared to the previous week,” Kulumbegov notes.
