Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze has announced a grand 2024 housing project for military personnel in Tbilisi. The initiative includes 43 new blocks with flats costing $100 per square meter. During a government meeting, Kobakhidze highlighted the main aspect of the initiative that members of the military workforce can purchase these flats at an exclusive price with no interest fees.
“This initiative emphasizes our deep respect for the military, with our goals being enhancing their living conditions and providing support to their families,” Kobakhidze said.
Apartments will vary from 50 to 110 square meters and will be assigned according to family size. Kobakhidze promised to continue such military initiatives per Georgia’s new defense code to strengthen the country’s military personnel.
