Kinzinger: The oligarch is trying to subjugate the country to Russia

The former member of the US House of Representatives, Adam Kinzinger, appeals to the citizens of Georgia, calls for unity, and says that the alliance between Georgia and the US is stronger than Bidzina Ivanishvili.

The former congressman (2011, 2023) recorded a video address of several minutes, which he published on the social network “X”.

For those who may not be familiar with Georgia, Kinzinger explains in the video that Georgia is a former Soviet republic that cost a lot of sacrifice and blood to free itself from the oppression of the Soviet Union; that while the world was watching the Olympic Games, Putin’s army came to Georgia once again; that Russia still occupies 20% of the territories of Georgia.

“Georgians know what Russia is and they definitely do not want anything Russian. Recently, “Georgian Dream” and its de facto leader, oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili, decided to annex Georgia to Russia. They spewed out lies and all the propaganda, as if the USA is furiously trying to make Georgia a slave to Russia because of Ukraine. It is clear that this is madness.

“They have re-initiated the ‘Foreign Agents Law’ to force non-governmental organizations to register as agents. The law is supported by the masters of ‘Georgian Dream’ in Moscow, in whose brains this law was cooked.

“In response to this, Georgian people came out on the streets. A few hours ago, these people were brutally dispersed, but this only strengthened the determination of the Georgian people and brought even more people to the streets in response.

“I am an ordinary person now, thankfully, and I am no longer in the government. But I know Georgia and its people well. I love this country.

“As a former congressman, I confirm my respect for the people who are standing in the streets in Georgia and confronting the tyranny of the ‘Georgian Dream.’ Both the USA and Europe stand by you. The measures taken by the governments against you may be dirty sometimes, but nothing can suppress your voice, the voice of Georgians”, says Kinzinger.

The former congressman also recalls the great contribution of Georgian fighters in Afghanistan, moreover, the biggest contribution, if we take into account the number of the population. He remembers the physically and morally injured Georgians who fought alongside the American soldiers in Afghanistan.

“Part of those soldiers are in the police today. In the police who are ordered to chase people. Now is the best time to refuse to follow these orders and resign. Or at least join the Georgian people standing in the street. A people who want nothing more than freedom, to be separate from Russia.

“America stands by Georgia. Georgian people stand next to America. Nothing can shake our alliance, and Russia’s attempt to seize this country is bound to fail.

“May God bless the Georgian people, may God bless our alliance and friendship. Stand firm!”, says the former congressman.
