Kinzinger: I know the Georgian people, it seems the PM doesn’t

This is an absolute lie, and the Prime Minister knows it. Why would we want Georgia to expand the war? We wouldn’t and they know it, – former American congressman Adam Kinzinger said in response to the claim of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili that the MEPs want to drag Georgia into the war.

“Why does Georgia Dream insist on siding with loser, terrorist state Russia? I know the Georgian people. It seems the prime minister doesn’t,” Kinzinger wrote.

PM Irakli Garibashvili said yesterday that during the protests in Georgia, several MEPs declared that the regime needs to be changed and overthrown. “I want to tell you one thing with full responsibility: Their desire was and is to involve Georgia in the war and make it fight together with Ukraine. This is the main goal, my friends, I want to tell you all. We, Georgians, should have common sense. We must show caution, but strong firmness and vigilance, not to allow a single provocation. We certainly are not exaggerating in our statements, it’s reality, my friends. Their wish is for Georgia to join the second front,” Garibashvili noted.
