Kindergartens will not start functioning until at least October 4. This applies to both private and public gardens. The relevant decision was made by the Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia.
The Minister of Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli explained that the reason for the above decision is delta strain, which is especially dangerous for young people and children.
In addition, by the decision of the government, the educational process in schools and universities will be conducted remotely from September 15 to October 4.
Regarding transport, based on the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, the restriction on public transport will continue until September 13.
