The mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, spoke about the unification of the opposition and noted that he had seen such a union many times, and that the last time they united against him was during the local self-government elections. He added that the majority of the population of Tbilisi gave them a sufficient answer.
“People see for whom this country is simply a country and for whom it is a homeland. People see all of this. They see the risks that exist in connection with the involvement in the war,” said Kaladze.
He noted that the government’s plan is to maintain peace, tranquility, and stability and protect the country’s and people’s interests.
“We have seen [the UNM] united and divided many times. These people are actually people of one particular worldview. Maybe someone has a different view, but they always unite, they always fail, and I am sure it will be the same in the future,” said Kaladze.
