According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, the High Commissioner for Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, will visit Georgia in a few days.
The Georgian side will provide him with information on the implementation of the 12 European recommendations.
“We are expecting Mr. Borrell in a few days, to whom we will once again provide an update on where we are in the process of implementing these 12 recommendations. Today, in one hour, we will have the session of the Interagency Commission for European Integration, where we will also discuss and once again hear updated information from the agencies on how the European integration process is progressing. So everything is going well. We will bring this process to an end,” said Garibashvili.
According to him, the President of Georgia and the opposition have not done anything for European integration in the last 10 years.
“Neither the President of Georgia, nor our critics – the opposition, have done anything in the last 10 years on the way to European integration. Everything is exclusively the merit of Georgian Dream – the association agreement, free trade, the visa-free regime and our European perspective. I believe that our European friends will have more than enough arguments to give the country the status it deserves,” Garibashvili said.
