Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, and Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia wrote on Twitter that NATO is committed to Georgia and its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
“Good talks in Georgia with Salome Zurabishvili, Shalva Papuashvili, Ilia Darchiashvili, Ministry of Defense, and the opposition. Discussed NATO-Georgia cooperation, Vilnius Summit, the need to redouble efforts on reforms, democratic standards, and continued support to Ukraine. NATO is committed to Georgia and its Euroatlantic aspirations,” Tweeted Colomina.
