The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that at least 30 targets were bombed in western and central Iran early this morning.
In an official statement, the IDF said the strikes targeted air defense systems, missile launchers, regime-linked facilities, and military command centers.
“The objectives of the operation included degrading air defense capabilities and neutralizing missile infrastructure and command hubs,” the statement said.
Two US officials confirmed to CBS News that the United States and Israel carried out a second wave of coordinated strikes on Iranian territory.
While Washington has not released detailed operational information, US sources described the action as part of a broader strategic campaign.
The latest strikes mark a significant escalation in the ongoing confrontation between Iran, Israel, and the United States. Iranian authorities have not yet issued a comprehensive response regarding the scale of damage or casualties resulting from the new attacks.
