Reports: Irakli Kobakhidze Expected to Become Chairman of GD

Irakli Kobakhidze, who currently serves as the executive secretary of the Georgian Dream, is presumably expected to replace Bidzina Ivanishvili as the party chairman.

Unofficial reports say the Georgian Dream has already made a decision to hand over the management of the party to Kobakhidze.

Further, reportedly, the party is expected to hold the political council in the coming days, where the new chairman will be elected.

For the record, Bidzina Ivanishvili, the chairman of the Georgian Dream, has resigned and left politics. He today addressed the public with an open letter about his decision.
