The congress of “Georgian Dream” elected Irakli Garibashvili as the chairman of the party. The members of “Georgian Dream” unanimously approved Garibashvili as the chairman of the party.
“The candidacy of Mr. Irakli Garibashvili for the post of chairman has been unanimously approved. I congratulate Mr. Irakli and thank him for his 3-year tenure as the Prime Minister, which brought great success to our country,” former chairman of “Georgian Dream” Irakli Kobakhidze said at the congress.
The meeting of the Georgian Dream is taking place at the Paragraph Tbilisi hotel. The founder and honorary chairman of “Georgian Dream” Bidzina Ivanishvili is attending the party congress.
