The Government of Georgia reports that internet will be available in Bakhvi Public School from today.
In cooperation with the World Bank, the Government of Georgia has developed the project “Log in Georgia”, which is implemented by Open Net and provides access to broadband Internet networks in the regions.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, visited the school today, and noted, the project of universal internetization in the country started in Ozurgeti municipality, and as of today, 29,000 citizens in 49 regional settlements can already use various services.
“I am especially glad that today we are starting this important project from Bakhvi Public School, where the Internet is fully available from today. This is a school, the rehabilitation of which was completed a few months ago and fully equipped with modern equipment, all the conditions for full-fledged education, sports activities, health, and safety, ” said Irakli Garibashvili.
