The National Wine Agency of Georgia this week announced that the volume of wine exported from Georgia has increased. 16.7 million liters of wine was exported in just the first two months of 2024, which is 43% more year-on-year.
“In January-February 2024, wine worth 47.6 million USD was exported from Georgia to 47 countries of the world, which is 38% higher than the figure of the same period in 2023,” National Wine Agency of Georgia said.
