In Adjara, 300+ people were trained in hospitality services

In order to improve the hospitality sector, spring trainings are taking place in Batumi. Theoretical-practical training was organized by the Adjara Tourism Department for bartenders and employees of the cleaning service.

Bartenders were introduced to the technology of coffee roasting and grinding, professional coffee machines and their operation, international rules for preparing espresso, cappuccino and latte, as well as milk preparation techniques, the type and method of preparation of alcoholic coffee, types and varieties of coffee. At the end of the training, the participants prepared different types of coffee and mastered the technology of latte art (painting on the surface of cappuccino).

Employees of aparthotels, large and small hotels got acquainted with the international standards of the cleaning service. At the end of the theoretical training, they were given practical training on the basis of hotel rooms.

During the spring trainings, the department was able to train about 300 sector representatives in total.

The trainings will last until the end of May and it is possible to attend them on the website of the service https://serviceajara.ge/ by pre-registration.

Training is planned for novice guides and employees of catering establishments, as well as public lectures by speakers for representatives of the tourism sector.
