According to the Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia, in 2023, the most popular protected areas for visitors were Prometheus Cave, Martvili Canyon and Sataplia.
In 2023, Prometheus Cave hosted 230,677 visitors, of which 49,917 were citizens of Georgia, and 180,760 were citizens of foreign countries, Martvili Canyon hosted 228,998 visitors, of which 81,746 were citizens of Georgia and 147,252 were citizens of foreign countries, and Sataplia hosted 96,956 visitors in 2023, of which 69,220 were citizens of Georgia and 27,736 were citizens of foreign countries.
