Ilia State University has reported plans to appeal the recent decision of the Authorization Board, which granted the university conditional authorization for a year. In its social media post, the university expressed disapproval of the verdict, criticizing it on the grounds of contradictory assessments by independent experts throughout June 2024.
The university mentioned that it received the highest scores in every category, yet the board still decided against granting full authorization.
“We fundamentally disagree with the decision and will appeal once the official protocol is released,” the university administration shared via social media.
