Government Approves Projects on Renewable Energy

Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, held and led an Executive Government Meeting to discuss 13 agenda items today, May 10.

Several significant projects have been endorsed by the Government of Georgia with the aim of developing green, renewable energy in the country. They include solar, wind, and hydropower projects.

The established capacity of the projects is 150 MW, while the total investment volume is around 200 MLN USD.
