A special cultural event will take place in Rome this week as the Gori Women’s Chamber Choir performs a solo concert in honor of the Vatican’s Jubilee year. The concert is being organized with the support of Georgia’s Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with the Embassy of Georgia.
The Vatican Jubilee, celebrated once every 25 years since the 1300s, marks one of the most significant commemorative traditions in Rome. This year’s program will include a performance by the renowned Gori Women’s Chamber Choir, bringing Georgian choral music to one of the city’s most historic venues.
The concert will be held on 21 November at 17:30 in the Pantheon (Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres), offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience Georgian polyphony.
