Gomelauri: There’s No Question of Who Started It. Russia Declared War Directly By Entering Their Troops

“In my opinion, the question of who started the war should not be asked at all. Russia declared war directly, entered its troops and started the war, it’s not a question, they themselves directly acknowledge it, we entered with the troops and started the operation. They named it an operation, but this is a war. Everyone knows that Ukraine did not start this,” said Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri.

He also noted that Georgia supports Ukraine, sending aid to Ukraine on the instructions of the Prime Minister.

“Our territories are occupied, we ourselves are affected; a few years ago there was a war in Georgia, we lost territories. Today, Russian troops are stationed on the territory of Georgia. We do not have the opportunity to help as much as Germany, France, the big EU countries. We supported all resolutions. We are ready to stand by Ukraine,” Gomelauri said.
