The Georgian-German Reproductive Center (GGRC) is a groundbreaking institution in the field of reproductive medicine, boasting a long professional history and vast experience in seeking the best and latest approaches, technology, and modern equipment. Its team of internationally recognized professionals combines German precision with Georgian hospitality for the beginning of life.
To find out more, GEORGIA TODAY sat down with George Archvadze, the General Manager of the clinic, and Nino Museridze, the Head of the clinic.
What was the purpose behind creating GGRC?
Giorgi Archvadze: The Georgian-German Reproductive Center was founded by a team of experienced doctors and has been growing steadily and swiftly ever since. The key to our clinic’s success is our strong sense of social responsibility, which we uphold not merely through words. Our success and purpose are defined by satisfied clients who realize that GGRC is more than just a business for us, it is our much-loved profession. It is a calling that enables us to bring happiness to families without children and turn their dreams into reality.
How would you rate the past 5 years?
Nino Museridze: We have seen continuous growth, which is very important. It’s also notable that many advancements in the field of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Georgia were pioneered here, including regenerative therapy, exosome therapy, PRP therapy, and stem cell transplantation. In 2023, we introduced stem cell transplantation, and thanks to this advancement, the birth of the first child is imminent. We are dedicated to enhancing patient awareness of IVF through our efforts.
All the necessary technologies in this field should be available in Georgia. Accordingly, we hold FDA and ISO certificates for our embryological procedures, as well as ISO certificates for our management processes. We are also accredited in Israel and have the capability to export biological materials to Australia and America. These credentials are crucial to us, because we prioritize quality.

We are only five years old, yet we have achieved all the milestones of the 21st century. Our doctors attend and conduct training sessions regularly. For the past five years, we have collaborated with the Ministry of Health to organize a conference named “Infertility 35+,” inviting specialists in this field to present their expertise. The conferences aim to provide regional doctors in Georgia access to expert trainers, especially to the ones who may not have the opportunity to attend trainings abroad. As medicine constantly evolves, it is crucial for doctors to stay updated with the latest information.
GGRC also offers a residency program that has been accredited, and I hope we will nurture many future professionals.
Tell us about your future plans.
Nino Museridze: Our goal is to enter the international market and gain recognition for our achievements in medicine. We aim to actively participate in research and establish an international-level training center that facilitates deepening, exchange, and sharing of knowledge. This service is typically expensive abroad, prompting individuals from other countries to seek training here for the same quality service at a lower cost. It is also my aspiration to establish a field in clinical embryology, providing opportunities for studying and entering this specialized area. This initiative will contribute to replacing foreign embryologists with skilled Georgian professionals in Georgia.
