Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Walid Abu Haya, the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, where the parties discussed the ongoing developments in the Middle East, the Georgian government administration said.
Based on the statement, the Prime Minister expressed concern over the recent escalation in the region and offered condolences to Israel over the victims of the attacks.
During the meeting, Kobakhidze also voiced hope that peace will soon be restored in the Middle East and emphasized the importance of stability and security for the well-being of countries and their populations.
The discussion also touched on the centuries-old friendly relations between Georgia and Israel, the government administration said.
