Georgia’s Pension Agency reports that the country’s pension assets have exceeded GEL 5.7 billion, marking a whopping GEL 1.3 billion in profits.
Since the agency came up with three different investment portfolios- dynamic, balanced, and conservative- with dynamic being the top performer, the agency says it saw a real growth rate of 16.9% between August 6, 2023, and September 30, 2024.
Comparatively, the balanced and conservative portfolios recorded returns of 15.12% and 12.64%, in that order.
The principal differentiation among portfolios is based on their assignments to global stocks:
The dynamic portfolio: 53% in shares;
The balanced portfolio: 32% in shares;
The conservative portfolio: 18% in shares.
