Georgian wine was presented to thousands of visitors at the Amsterdam Wine Festival, one of Europe’s major international events, with the support of Georgia’s National Wine Agency. The tasting, organized by the agency’s contractor Wijnimport Bleeker, featured a wide range of wines, from classic varieties to those made with the traditional qvevri method.
The National Wine Agency pointed out that promoting Georgian wine abroad and strengthening its global visibility remains a top priority. Since 2013, the agency has been running targeted marketing campaigns to diversify export markets, with a focus on the U.S., Europe and Southeast Asia.
The agency also stated that in just the first eight months of 2025, Georgian wine has been featured at 20 international exhibitions and festivals as well as 145 tastings and seminars across 14 countries.
