Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will meet with Pope Leo XIV on November 24, the Government Administration has announced.
As part of his visit to the Vatican, Kobakhidze is also scheduled to hold talks with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Secretary of State of the Holy See. The discussions are expected to focus on bilateral relations, regional developments, and cooperation in cultural, humanitarian, and interfaith fields.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, Culture Minister Tinatin Rukhadze, and the Head of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani.
The visit marks an important step in strengthening Georgia–Holy See relations, continuing a tradition of diplomatic dialogue that has spanned decades.
