The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, has departed for the United States to attend the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Presidential Administration announced.
During his visit, scheduled for September 21–26, President Kavelashvili will deliver an address to the Assembly and hold a series of high-level bilateral meetings, including talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
He will also take part in an official reception hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in honor of the participating heads of delegations.
