Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili, will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Sweden on March 13-14.
The Georgian FM will meet with officials from Sweden’s executive and legislative branches during the visit.
“The visit will take place during Sweden’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. As a result, in addition to the issues of close friendly cooperation between the two countries, special attention will be paid to Georgia’s accession to the European Union and Sweden’s support on this path,” reads the statement issued by Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
