The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reports that a citizen of Georgia died as a result of the earthquake in Turkey.
“The Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Turkey received information about the death of Georgian citizen N.Z. in the city of Antakya as a result of the earthquake. The diplomatic representation of Georgia is in contact with the family members of the deceased, as well as with the relevant agencies of Turkey,” reads the statement of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the latest information, 1504 people died as a result of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
