Over 800 businesses, among them MagtiCom, PSP Pharma, Daily, McDonald’s, SPAR, Veli Store, Magniti, Toyota Center Tbilisi, Alta, PwC Georgia, and Gvirila, this week signed a statement, urging new elections and the release of unlawfully detained citizens during the recent protests in Georgia. The statement calls for the importance of quick actions to address the situation.
The statement mentions that the best solution is ‘to call new elections and release those arrested during the recent events before the New Year.’
The representatives of Georgian businesses say they take ‘responsibility for the fate of the country and its irreversible progress.’
