Georgia to host Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and its Georgian Member, GPB, are excited to announce that Tbilisi, Georgia, will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on Saturday, 13 December.

This marks the second time Georgia will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, following its successful debut as host in 2017.

Georgia holds the title of the most successful country in Junior Eurovision history, boasting a record four victories since its debut in 2007.

The country’s latest triumph came at the 2024 contest in Madrid, where Andria Putkaradze claimed victory with his heartfelt song To My Mom.

Eurovision Song Contest Director, Martin Green CBE, said:

“We can’t wait to return to Georgia, a nation that’s profoundly passionate about the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.  GPB’s proven ability to deliver outstanding shows gives us every confidence that this will be an exceptional edition that creates cherished memories for young participants and audiences worldwide.”

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will showcase talented performers aged nine to 14 from across Europe and beyond, celebrating youth, creativity, and cultural diversity through original musical performances. Further details, including the official venue, theme, and full participant lineup, will be announced in the coming months.
