The Minister of Health of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, has confirmed the deaths of fully vaccinated people in Georgia.
“This is a sad fact. There are similar cases in the world and such cases have been reported in Georgia. However, this should not be a cause for panic, as it is 0.001%, and in most cases the vaccine protects us from lethality. These patients developed various life-threatening damage that was caused by their chronic diseases, and in this case, the doctors’ efforts were in vain,” Tikaradze said.
The Minister spoke about starting schools in the classrooms and noted that they do not have a clear answer yet, adding that the main term for the opening of schools is the mass vaccination of teachers. At least 80% must be vaccinated for school to be considered safe.
