Georgia Reports 232 New Cases, No Deaths

COVID: New Cases & Fatalities Up, President Urges Mandatory Vaccination for Risk Groups

232 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, with no deaths, and 117 people have recovered.

A total of 1,653,692 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,634,591 have recovered and 16,794 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

120 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 13, Imereti – 39, Kvemo Kartli – 7, Shida Kartli – 14, Guria – 10, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 11, Kakheti – 9, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 4, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 5, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 0.

2,874,821 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On April 19, 342 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 161 patients recovered and 1 died.
