Georgia participates in the 116th session of the Executive Board of the UN World Tourism Organization as a member of the Council.
The session, which is being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is attended by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and Tamar Koriauli, First Deputy Head of the National Tourism Administration.
The event discussed current trends in international tourism and future plans for sustainable recovery of the sector.
Deputy Minister noted that participation in the 116th session of the UN World Tourism Organization as a member state is very important, as this platform provides an opportunity to address issues and engage in decision-making that improves the dynamics of tourism recovery globally.
