Georgia is today observing an official day of mourning to honor the victims of the landslide in western Shovi resort which occured last Thursday.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Saturday signed a decree declaring Monday as a day of mourning to honor the victims of a landslide that hit western Georgia’s Shovi resort, killing at least 18 people, including children.
The flags will be at half mast in Georgia from 00:00 on August 7 to 00:00 on August 8, the Government Administration said earlier.
